As the Founder of Bob Oetting & Associates, now retired, Bob Oetting had provided quality insurance services to the Charleston community for over 35 years. Bob enjoyed working with both businesses and individuals, using a full range of insurance options to help meet the needs of each individual client.

Jeff Oetting, President of Bob Oetting & Associates has been helping families plan for their future for the past 23 years. Jeff holds an MBA from Eastern Illinois University. In addition to working with his clients to help develop insurance strategies tailored to individuals and families, Jeff was also an instructor at Eastern Illinois University. He is a certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.

Trina Oetting is the Chief Financial Officer at Bob Oetting & Associates. She grew up in Bethany Illinois. Trina attended Eastern Illinois University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science and MBA in business. This is also where she met Jeff Oetting, her now husband.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, and running.

Brandon is our Commercial and Agricultural Representative serving Coles County and the surrounding areas.

Brandon started his career in insurance after graduating from Drury University in 2018. He joined Bob Oetting & Associates in September of 2021.  

He currently serves on the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and is involved in various community activities.

Brandon currently resides in Charleston with his wife, daughter, and two beagles.

Tammy joined the Oetting team in August of 2022 as a Customer Service Representative.  She is a Charleston native and is married to Doug Etnire.  Together they have 3 wonderful sons, a great daughter-in-law and two adorable grandsons!  Tammy attends Salisbury Church, enjoys country living, spending time in the kitchen, playing golf, traveling and family gatherings.

Seth Higgins is a Property and Casualty producer specializing in Personal Lines. He works primarily with individuals seeking Home, Auto, Personal Umbrella, Renter’s policies, and any other personal lines insurance needs. Seth is a native of Charleston, graduating from CHS in 2018 with an undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale and a master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University.

When not in the office Seth enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, but you will most likely find him on the golf course.

David joined the Oetting team in 2024 and has over 18 years of insurance experience. He resides in Tuscola with his wife and golden doodle. David spends his free time out on the golf course.

Our Health Lines Team here at Bob Oetting & Associates consist of Deb Lough, Maryann Coleman, and Tammy Simpson. 

Deb Lough 

Deb is from Tuscola, married to associate David Lough, and was worked with our team since September of 2024. Deb is a licensed agent, not currenting selling, but specializing in customer service. She assists our customers with claims and medical billing. When not in the office, You can find Deb enjoying her time with family and friends. 

Maryann Coleman 

Maryann is originally from Marshall and has worked in insurance for over 25 years. In her career she has spend 12 years total with Bob Oetting & Associates. When she has free time, you will find her doing what she enjoys most - reading! 

Tammy Simpson 

Tammy is an Insurance Customer Service Representative here at Bob Oetting & Associates. With over 25 years of experience, she is passionate about providing excellent customer service and building last relationships with our clients. She is a long-time resident of Charleston IL, residing with her husband Doug. In her free time she enjoys gardening, crafting, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Keith Atteberry is originally from Lerna, IL and graduated from Charleston High School in 2018. In his free time, Keith enjoys spending time with friends and watching sports. He is a fan of St Louis Cardinals baseball team.
